Our company
makerspace.shop started with a simple idea: building should be easy to get into and enjoyable to stick with. Whether you're putting together your first Arduino kit, upgrading a 3D printer, or setting up a classroom, we focus on giving you tools that just work. What began as a small workbench project has grown into a Canadian-based shop supporting students, educators, and makers across the country. We don’t just list products, we use them, test them, and stand behind them. Every item we carry is chosen because it solves a real problem or makes the process better. We work closely with the people actually building things, from classrooms to home setups, to keep our catalog practical and relevant. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: help you spend less time searching and more time creating.

Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought. Albert Einstein

Our team
We’re a small, hands-on team that genuinely enjoys building things. Some of us come from engineering, some from development, some from working directly with customers, but we all share the same mindset: make things easier for the person on the other side. We test products ourselves, answer questions directly, and constantly improve how the store runs based on real feedback. There’s no fluff here, just people who care about making sure you get what you need and that it works the way it should. We’re not trying to be flashy. We’re focused on being reliable, helpful, and easy to deal with. The kind of team we’d want to buy from ourselves.
